Banana, Peanut Butter Bites
Remote learning brings another types of challenges. I am not sure about your kids, but mine are constantly hungry. I have been trying to find snacks, that are not just heathy but also filling .
The Banana , Peanut Butter Bites have all of it. Bananas are full of vitamin B6, vitamin C and potassium; peanut butter delivers protein and magnesium; and oats are among the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat.
I can’t forget to mention, that you will need 10 minutes to make them.
So these heavenly delicious bites are going to become your family’s best friends. So go ahead and give it a try!
Prep time: 10 min. Makes: 20 balls
You will need:
1 banana
3 Tbl peanut butter
1 tsp honey
1 cup dry oats
1 Tbl chocolate chips or raisins ( optional )
unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
Method:
Mash banana with the fork in a medium size bowl. Add peanut butter and honey. Mix together until smooth. Add oats and chocolate chips. You may need more oats (it depends on the size of banana ). Mix together until the dough is sticky enough to form balls. Scoop about 1 Tbl dough and rolll balls.
Add about 3 Tbl of shredded coconut in another bowl and roll prepared peanut butter balls in coconut flakes until well covered .
