Cream Puffs
Prep: 25min Cool: 10min Bake: 30min Oven: 400F Makes:12 Cream Puffs
Ingredients:
I cup water
½ cup butter
1/8 t salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 eggs
3 cups whipped cream, pudding, or ice cream
1.Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease a baking sheet. In a saucepan combine the water, butter, and salt. Bring to boiling. Immediately add flour all at once and stir vigorously. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Cool for 10 min. Add eggs, one at the time, beating well after each addition.
2.Drop 12 heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 to 35 min. or until golden brown and firm. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.
3. Just before serving, cut tops from puffs and fill with whipped cream. Replace tops
